Sports Event at Copthorne Jubilee Pavilion

A fun sporting event was organised by Ken Luttman and Joan Stephenson on behalf of the Copthorne Jubilee Committee at the new Copthorne Jubilee Pavilion, and it certainly attracted a lot of enthusiastic villagers.

Table Tennis was played in the Pavilion under the supervision of Karen Lelliott, with the delicious smell of hot bacon butties and coffee coming from the kitchen, cooked and served up by Marion and Sandra.

Outside on the field was a ‘roll up and join in’ game of Stoolball.

As well as a Fathers and Sons football match:

The Fathers Team:                                                       The Sons Team:

And some shooting practise at the tyres

Amongst the networking and conversations, it has emerged that a Cycling Club may be soon be joining the Copthorne Sports and Community Association at the Copthorne Jubilee Pavilion.
